"Outstanding HIGH end speakers for the Price" on by jasonah26
Pros: Excellent sound, very respnsive, space saving with big speaker sound
Cons: The highs and mids are adequate but the mid-range bass suffers a bit however the powered sub can certainly make your room shake
Summary: I purchased the Paradigm 110 cinema series about a month ago and I'm extremely please with my purchase I currently use a Denon 2800 series to push the system. It seems to me that the more I use it, the better it sounds. I also tested out simular sized speakers like the radius and infiniti. Both of which were almost double the cost with mionimal quality. One of the reasons I purchased from Paradigm is the fact that they manufacture the speaker from start to finish. They do not outsource components from other countries. I paid over $800 for the speakers and I dare you to find a speaker that is overwhelmingly outstanding in ALL musical aspects as well as home theatre. The clarity can not be beat for the price. The rear dual firing speakers can conflict with some receivers auto setup but if you're familiar with manual setup you can accomplish the same as a autosetup. I've tested this system using everything from Rock, classical, jazz and ever Pop/rap. I must say that the bigger the room the happier you will be. This system fills the room or home with crisp clean quality sound. I recently purchased the Eagles farewell I DVD and after seeing this tour live twice. This system does provide an extremely realistic affect that makes me feel like I'm reliving the concert in the comfort of my own home.

"Good but Not Great System for the Money" on by rsatya123
Pros: Pleasing Looks with Decent Sound
Cons: Anemic sound.
Summary: I have owned this system for three months now, and I would have to say that I am not fully satisfied with this system. I got this system after months of research, and I am disappointed with the sound quality. The two main criteria I was looking for were small bookshelf speakers with good sound that would go well with my room decor. I understand that it is difficult to get good sound with small speakers, but I wanted the best available speaker that fits my requirements. And I am sorry that Paradigm is not worth the $800 I spent on it.
It is still is a very good speaker system, the high frequency is awesome but it lacks on the midrange and the low frequencies. The bottom line is that it is not worth $800, there are better speakers for the money. Moreover they do not have a return policy, so I am stuck with it. My advice to people looking to buy speakers would be, always listen before you buy. The other alternatives in small bookshelves are Def Tech, Klipsch, Polk Audio, Infinity -
"Great sound, exceptional system for the money" on by waldmham
Pros: ADP's provide crystal clear sound, drivers pack "punch"
Cons: I supplemented the sub for a PDR-10 (more power)
Summary: Great option for someone who is building a surround sound system! The 5:1 sound is great. If you're power source is a 6:1 receiver, Paradigm dealers will sell additional ADP speakers at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this system--you will be very impressed.

"Superior to systems that are twice the price" on by Razorsedge023
Pros: The 110 CT outperformed my roommate's Bose system by far. The clarity and depth of the speakers cannot be beat by any similarly priced product, as well as those I have heard that cost upwards of $2000.
Cons: If there is a downside, and there are very few, the included mounts are a hair clumsy, and if you aren't planning on placing them on the wall, then the speakers can be in the way from time to time. I cannot say anything bad about the sound quality.
Summary: You will not find a better sound system for the money. These are THX certified speakers, something even Bose can't claim, and they will easily replace older home theater systems you may have that include large floor speakers. And these speakers aren't just great for viewing movies. When playing music of any type, these speakers offer a full, deep, unmatched sound quality that will rattle your windows when used with the proper receiver (mine is an Onkyo TX 8 something that I've had for years). Before you decide on any other speaker system, find a dealer and check these out. You will be impressed.

"These speakers are the BOMB!" on by ernestbrz28
Pros: Clean crisp sound. No distortion what so ever!
Cons: Everybody bugs me if I'm getting the big fights or if they can have movie night at my house :)
Summary: I'm useing an old Onkyo 6.1 receiver I baught at Circuit City a while back and paired them up with a Velodyne 12 inch sub. The best setting to use on this is setting the Sub to 80hrz and the gain half way. Then on your receiver set the speakers to small and put the hrtz on 80. The speakers sound amazing. My friend has a Bose 5.1 he got at best buy and realized he waisted his money when he could have got these at a fraction of the price. I never realized what a complete system sounded like til I got these and used these settings. The open scene on James Bond Quantom of Solice was intense! You could here the Mids vroom as the Aston Marton raced threw the street and the highs were clear and powerfull as the machine gun bullets flew from the assult rifles! These speaker look amazing mounted next to my 52 inch lcd on the wall. These are a must have!!!
