Pros Sound is good.
Cons Took original remote back to store and received a new one. That one did not work either. Chatted with Vizio customer service and tried their suggestions...still does not work. Now have to send copy of
recipt and wait for agent to contact us.
Summary Would not recommend this product.
Pros Mediocre when it actually works. After a few months when it disintegrates in your hands due to the cheap plastic construction, you will be left with a giant paperweight. And dont expect Vizio to fix or replace it.
Cons Designed to fail around the time the warranty is up. But it doesn't really matter. They will not abide by the warranty anyway. They know that they design crap, so you might as well know it too. Save a little longer and buy more reliable products.
Summary 10 months after purchasing this sound bar, the optical cable port completely disintegrated (due to its cheap plastic construction). Although the warranty covers manufacturer defect, the Genius technicians state actual damage is not really covered. The last time I actually touched the sound bar was 10 months ago, when I plugged the cable in. They claim they don't cover normal wear and tear. I pose this question-- Is damage after 10 months normal wear and tear? Well, according to the person I spoke to, Vizio believes it is. Take your money and spend it on a product that you won't have to replace in less than a year. And if you decide to buy this crap, don't say I didn't warn you...
Pros Great clarity. Good sound, especially when turned up loud for bass to kick in.
Cons Cannot hook up via digital audio that I can determine.
Summary Good sound for the price. Don't expect deep sounding bass especialy at low levels
