1. Very easy to install. I had mine up and running it less than 20 minutes.
2. 4 Inputs, including 2 optical (1 more than the previous model).
3. Very sleek, with several options for placement
4. User freindly remote.
5. Power saving mode.
I do love the glossy black finish but it is prone to dust and fingerprints. That being said, it's no where near a deal breaker. You'll just have to dust it more often. Not so much a con really. Just an annyonce if your a cleaning freak like me.

I live in an apartment and wanted something simple without having to run multiple speakers and a miles worth of wire to boot. However, I wanted something more than just one speaker directed at my listening space. I wanted surround without ?surround?. This system certainly fit the bill. I was VERY pleased with the sound coming from this small bar; (main unit is 11lbs). I put in my blu ray of "I Am Legend", and was BLOWN away! I heard birds chirping on the sides of me. Crisp with no distortion at 75% volume. I never took it past that point as I was in danger of my apartment neighbors banging on my door. A level 54 was my final choosing. During the opening chase scene where Will Smith is driving and hunting for food in the city, I could hear the roar of the car pass right by me (and to my right and left sides) as it drove off the screen in those respective directions. Very cool!!!!!! You can adjust the center, subwoofer, and surround area volumes as you see fit. I felt there was too much base out of the box, so I put mine at a -4. This was still "Plenty" of boom, and it balanced out the sound nicely. I watched about an hour of the movie and then switched back to HDMI sound via my regular TV sound. Upon hearing the regular TV speakers again, the first word that came to mind was "how?" How in world have I been listening to this TV for the past year with THIS mediocre to downright horrible sound. I've been missing out, but NO MORE. I also had my best friend over for a critique, and after about 10 minutes into the movie, he said "MY GOD that is amazing." "That's all coming from that little bar?" Needless to say it's something that I highly recommend. I would definitely take advantage of the optical inputs. Also make sure to change your settings on your host components from HDMI (if you?re running it) to Optical, and also Dolby 5.1. There are 4 sound modes, and movie seems to be the best in my opinion. The FM radio is also actually very nice as well. I'm not sure I'll use it all that much, but it's a nice addition. If you own your home you can also wall mount this which I would have done had I not lived in an apartment. They do give you a template, and there are only 2 holes to drill. Seems pretty simple, but they do suggest a pro do this should you opt for it being wall mounted. Bottom line, great sound, great system. Side note: If you happen to be a Best Buy Silver Rewards member, you can call the 1-800 number on the back of your card and ask for a complimentary in-home theatre consultation. They basically come in and look at your existing equipment and make recommendations for upgrades/add-ons.. This lasts about 45 minutes and is actually pretty informative. The consultation is FREE to silver members, and after it's over you'll be given a voucher for $100.00 of your next purchase in home theatre over $499.00 or more. So you can snag this for $399.99. Thanks for reading my review and I hope you found it helpful.
