"Excellent all-rounder"
Pros: Nicely balanced tech, handling, acceleration.
Cons: Not class-leading at anything.
Summary: My family bought our MDX after testing the BMW X5 3.0/4.4, the Infiniti FX35/45, the Lexus RX330, and the Mercedes ML350.
The BMW and the Mercedes weren't worth thier pricetags. Comparably equipped they were more than $5,000 more than the rest. The Lexus drove and handled like a boat, while the Infiniti (though fun) was more of a sportscar with a backpack.
The MDX offered all the technology we were looking for, while hitting a good middle ground without breaking our bank account.
If you're shopping in this class, this is a SUV you need to drive before making a decision.
