"Just purchased the car and love it"
Pros: beautiful ride and handling
Cons: haven't found any yet. maybe price?
Summary: I bought mine with most of the options. The sport package is great, with the sport steering wheel, suspension and I did op for the 19" rims. Handles like a dream. I also op'd for the comfort package as well. Great items in that package but an after thought for me is I should have purchased the upgraded seats. Don't get me wrong, the seats in the comfort package are great but I owned a 2001 740i sport with those upgraded seats and it was outstanding. Pricey option but outstanding. The back of the seat articulates and also has a function for more lateral support as well. Next time I will purchase with those upgraded seats. All in all, I love my x5. The looks are outstanding, the ride is awesome and there's more than enough power coming from that 4.4 than I'll ever need. The acceleration is very impressive for its size. I do beleive my car has the 4:10 rear end gears. I hope this has helped someone make their decision a little easier.

I have an X5, 4.8i model; this car saved my life; with it's stability control on the highway i avoided a terrible accident (a week after my near miss of an animal on the highway, someone wasn't so lucky when they hit the same livestock and their car flipped)...finish is wonderful, handling is great, i have no complaints except the nav system is a bit confused for new streets in my area. Sexy lines, great stereo system - love it!
