"Pulls my Supra Ski boat without any problem"
Pros: Pulls trailers great, motorcycles fit in the bed, GPS
Cons: Turning radius not good, MPG Avg 17 with mixed driving
Summary: First of all I Love this truck and it continues to grow on me. I bought a used 2006 RTL with Navigation it was 6 months old with 7000 miles for $30,000 in perfect condition from CarMax, I didn't care for CarMax but the truck is great. The Nav is a must have, but no bluetooth for the cell phone as of yet, I hope they add it as a upgrade in the future.
The truck has so many great features you can read about anywhere like how well it handles, But what I was unable to find out some things so here they are like how it pulls a trailer. I pull my 3000 pound Supra ski boat and this truck gets up and goes. It is a 6 cylinder so you do have to floor it getting on the freeways but I am passing other cars on the on ramp to the freeway and once on the road with a trailer it handles great and has enough power to haul it up the 5 fwy out of Los Angeles past Gorman at 70 MPH up the steepest grades of the freeway.
Only two dirt motorcycle fit in the bed but they fit right in or one in the middle either way the tailgate is down and the back tire is hanging over the back of the tailgate. With that you can get under the the bikes when loaded to the trunk.
The back seat has a lot of room for long trips so the passangers tell me.
There are some problems with this truck. First the turning radius is about as bad as a vehicle can get and that along with the fact that the corners of the truck are not visible from the drivers seat make it is a challenge to park in tight spots in a parking lot. I will be installing cameras in both front and back so that should help some.
Second, I get 14 MPG to 20 MPG but on average I get 17 MPG with most of my driving on freeways around Los Angeles greater area.
Third problem with the truck is the diver seat wile very comfortable, my knees are only about one inch from the dash (I am 5'11") because the steering wheel does not telescope out and with the head light switch now placed by your left knee you turn on the lights when getting out of the truck.
The last problem is the A/C, if you have it ON no problem, but if you want it OFF to try to get better gas milage (no difference when I tried) you get the vent and can not turn off the draft from the air coming in (not from the fan just ram air).
Again I love the truck and you can read all the good things from other reviews like how big the trunk is and fun things like the sliding rear window. In closing I would buy it again and recommend this truck highly.
