Best vehicle I've ever driven/ownedby danonline - July 13, 2007
Pros: Technology package is amazing. Great to drive and nice to look at. Very comfortable seats.
Cons: Voice recognition isn't perfect.
Review:
The technology package is required for any gadget/technology lover. The bluetooth phone system, the navigation system and the voice activation is a killer combination. The vehicle handles well, responds very well when you need to accelerate fast and makes you feel good driving it. The attention to detail and the way it makes my life easier with the little features is what makes the RDX amazing.

Not perfect but the best I could findby jasimeone - July 9, 2007
Pros: ride, fit and finish, quality, many techno-toys
Cons: still some turbo lag, lots of toys but not the best of toys
Review:
I traded in my 2001 BMW 330xi because of maintenance and repair costs. The RDX can not compete but is a fine alternative when you want a small SUV.
The RDX handles very well for this class of vehicle, great brakes, good handling and once past that short turbo lag this car really takes off. I have left some rubber on the road when accellerating into traffic. I think the styling is great and I love the 18" wheels. So many standard features such as moon roof, xenon etc. cost a lot to add on to a BMW X3.
Tech-Package:
The navigation is nice because of the integration to voice and the rest of the car but my Garmin Nuvi was a better system. Blue tooth is good but does integrate with your phones address book so you must enter that manually.
Built in XM radio is nice but I have yet to get traffic information and I know we have traffic in Boston. No one at XM has been able to assist.
Backup camera is basic and could be improved to match that of the Nissan Murano which actually guides you on distance to objects.
All my tech issues are far outweighted by the performance, quality and feel of this vehicle.

Dream car for DINKS and Geeksby magdog - April 19, 2007
Pros: Amazing tech package; Fun to drive
Cons: MPG and premium fuel
Review:
The local dealership delivered the RDX to my house and drove my trade in away two days ago. I can't say enough about my Acura dealership (Sutton in Macon, GA). I actually traded in a sports car (2003 Nissan 350Z) for this vehicle, and the RDX is very peppy and just as much fun to drive.
The voice activated commands apply to the climate control, navigation and audio system. The rear camera that automatically shows what is behind you when in reverse is way cool.
I went for some extras: moon roof visor; gold emblems; body side molding; upgraded rear view mirror; insulated cooler bag for console; cargo organizer; rear bumper applique. I stil walked out for approximately the MSRP at drive out.

Fulfills a tough nicheby Dan Filice - December 6, 2006
Pros: Handling, fit, finish, luxury feel, high-tech toys
Cons: Too high-tech for dummies like me.
Review:
We picked up a new RDX with Tech Option two days ago. This is my wife's new car. We spent hours at the L.A. Auto Show as she wanted to move up from her Toyota Matrix. We sat in at least a dozen mid-size SUVs and the RDX had the best ergonomics of any we sat in, and had the best luxury feel of any, except for those really expensive SUVs. I drive a CL-S, so I like a stiff suspension, and the RDX feels and handles like a sports car. The engine is a little noisy if you accelerate fast, but once up to speed, the car is very quiet. Very quite at highway speed. Our Matrix was deafening. We took the Tech Package because my '02 has navigation and my wife wanted it too. The '07 naviagtion is MUCH improved. Bluetooth works great. XM Radio works great. The DVD Audio with 5.1 surround is amazing. At the Auto Show, we sat in the FJ Cruiser (what a terrible interior for 4 people), the Saturn VUE (GM just can't get over soft foam cushions with velour covers), the Hummer H3 (a mini version of a Brinks truck with absolutely no vision out the windows), the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CRV (neither had the tech options my wife wanted), the Jeep Liberty (not bad, but some essential interior design features lacking), the Honda Pilot (nice and roomy and good quality but drove like a huge car) and of course the Lexus and Infiniti SUVs (way too expensive). So when we seriously looked and compared our options and added the features we wanted, we could not pass up the Acura. All-wheel drive, tight sports car-like suspension, beautiful interior, navigation that upgrades the stereo, and of course a great feature: separate A/C for the passenger (my wife is always cold, so she can have her heated seats and hot air blowing on her feet while I have cool air on my face). So far, very happy with the RDX. I didn't rate it a 10 because in a perfect world, I would like a little more interior space but with the same nimble handling, but I'm happy none the less.

Disappointing.by rbelkin - October 22, 2006
Pros: Fit and finish.
Cons: Suspension, drive train, exhaust and engine noise.
Review:
As a long term Acura owner (MDX) and fan, I thought this car was WAY off the usual Acura standard. Suspension is so stiff that your butt bounces right off the rear seat on moderate bumps & at moderate speed. Power delivery is not smooth. Turbo lag is evident. Exhaust/engine sound like a low pitched leaf blower and the car seems to resonate or vibrate - 1 of the 2 or 3 cars I've ever driven that gave me a headache almost immediately. Fit & finish were excellent.

Best value for your moneyby TechGeek007 - September 19, 2006
Pros: Turbo Charged 4 cylinder, Best in class navigation system, 410 watts sound system
Cons: None that I can find yet.
Review:
This SUV is really fun to drive. I traded in my 2005 BMW 330ci and 2001 Toyota Camry for this it. This SUV has the soul of a sports car and the enough space to fit anything you want to. It corners like a dream and handles great in rain.
Acura has done the Turbo right. There is a slight turbo lag but it is not very noticeable. I got the Tech Package (Navgation, Back-up Camera and ELS sound system). The navigation is great and the back-up camera comes in handy in tight spots. The music system makes sitting in traffic less painful.
All in all, this is a great SUV for the price. I intent to keep this vehicle for while and also get the new Acura TL Type S in the spring.
