"Almost Perfect."
Pros: Loaded standard features, with or without the Tech Package; Soft comfortable seats; great stereo sound; great driving experience
Cons: Lack of passenger-side power seats, seat memory, rear-view mirror auto-dimming not standard.
Summary: You must compare the RDX to others in its class so the first thing you must admit is that the cost of the RDX is priced better than its direct competition--that is with other luxury small SUVs. The big selling point for the RDX is the 4 cylinder Turbo engine, which is great. You will read about turbo lag and that a V-6 would have been better. But Acura is about innovation and the turbo engine is just that. I suspect that over the life of the vehicle there will be fuel savings using the 4-cylinder turbo over a standard V-6, although such savings probably would not be worth mentioning. So let's get serious here folks, this is about luxury, performance, reliability, bells and whistles, class and style, right? So don't compare this Acura to a Toyota or a Mazda please! The RDX drives like a dream. The interior is absolutely perfect. The exterior is stylish although I must admit that it grew on me more and more. I walked toward the vehicle from a distance one day and fell in love with its classy lines and curb appeal. As far as performance goes, you'll get very good pick-up compared with 4-cylinder platform equivalents (like the CR-V and Rav-4, this comparison is regarding pick-up only so I'm not violating my rule against making certain comparisons.) I highly recommend the RDX if for no other reason than Acura great performance and craftsmanship. Dollar for dollar you get so much bang for the buck with this SUV/Crossover vehicle that the Pros far outweigh the Cons (yes there are some). This is a must look at vehicle. Don't sell yourself short by overlooking all the pros. You will be satisfied in the end.
