"Jury is still out on the Rating"
Pros: Size, comfort, looks, tech
Cons: Not as good gas mileage as would have hope, no bluetooth
Summary: I haven?t driven it as much as I would like, to really rate it, next weekend 6 of us are taking it on a long trip, so will be able to rate it better after that. That is why we got this rig, is for hauling our extended family around, especially ski trips.
This SUV is replacing a 14 year old minivan. More comfort, more room, all wheel drive, hopefully better gas mileage.
The Acadia is nominally the same size as the Tahoe (not as tall), but really not much else is the same. Just compare at the 3rd row seats and the space behind that seat to the Tahoe or any other SUV except the Suburban. The Acadia is really roomy on the inside. There is also NO comparison with the ride.
I can?t believe Wayne from CNET is comparing this car to a Pacifica, and says the Pacifica is better looking, NOT.
I too am disappointed in the fact that Bluetooth is not offered. As we did with our sedan, after the first year probably won?t renew our On-Star and then what good will the hands free calling do, plus now we have another phone number!
