Summary: My friend has a GMC Yukon 4WD, similar to this. This is definately not a "poor-mans" Escalade. The 2WD SLT runs for about $40,000 whereas the Escalade is around $54,000. $14,000 difference, but last i heard, $40,000 is still a lot of money. You are definately not shopping at an outlet. I agree that they made a poor choice of words.
