"Great Off Road machine!"
Pros: Fun in the Sun! Drivetrain is bullet-proof.
Cons: V6 is weak
Summary: I have teh exact model you see in this picture. A red 2007 Unlimited Rubicon with everything I could get on it.
It is a great off-road machine and is Absolutely a BLAST to drive.
Gone are the days of rough riding Jeeps. Everyone who rides in it with me is amazed at how well mannered it is. This is essentially the same suspension from the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, eveybody knows how they ride.Creature comforts have come a long way, but hey it's a Jeep not a BMW. The 6 disc DVD changer and or MyGig navigation is a big improvement. But it is still ALL Jeep!
The Rubicon is an animal climbing obstacles I can't easily walk up, and it makes anything you'll see on the pavement look like a walk in the park.
Summertime top-down fun factor is a 10.
Offroad fun factor is a 10.
On road manners is an 8.
Interior is ALL Jeep 8.
Exterior is apealling and well protected 10.
Mileage and power seem a bit 'off' 6.
