Pros POWER BABY! You can feel the power from the moment you leave your drive.
Cons Before my purchase of my RR SC I read the backup camera is "murky", and it is. Big deal. Regarding tech flaws I have read about - I hope they have made continuous process improvements and, thus far, it seems they have in my '07.
Summary My first off road experience was incredible and I have plans for an all day off road trek on an upcoming Sunday. To address any chance of those tech flaws I hear about, my advice and what I have done, is extend the warranty to give full protection up to 100k miles.
Pros Everything, finish, level of comfort, drivability, visibility, performance.
Cons NAV system usability. Connect ability to cell phones (fixed in later series RR's)
Summary This is by far the most comfortable SUV I have owned or driven, I like everything about the RR SC. The performance of the RR SC is great. I am not planning to do heavy duty off road driving, I will be driving thru national parks, touring etc which this will do "in its sleep". Performance in wet conditions, snow, ice has to date been excellent.
Pros Nice look. Great handling. Head turner!
Cons No that I can see.
Summary Bottom line, if you have $100,000 on hand and need a SUV, get the 2007 range rover
"I recently purchased the Supercharged Black on Black. I love it. It drives like a dream."on by dls60188
Pros All around luxury. Great job freshing up interior
Cons At 6'5" like da wish it was easier to sit in.
Summary I would recommend this vehicle. I'm having a great time driving it. It has such a nice ride. I've been around ritzy cars my whole life, and this is just as good. I hope I have better luck with this compared to my crappy VW SUV which always died if I didn't drive it every day.

Cons Need to have smaller wheels for improved off-road tire avaliblity
Summary The Supercharged Range Rover has a SUPERCHARGER not a Turbocharger as you mentioned in the article. Might want to have your editor come up for a closed door confrence in your office.
In addition when you talk about throttle response you do know that like most 6 speed automatics all SC Range Rover and SC Range Rover Sports start in second gear not first. I have never noticed a lack of throttle response in the SC Range Rover even in second gear and I have driven several of them.
Next if you are going to drive through a mud pit like that you should have...
1. Walk around the obstacle to check and see how dep it was. You should actually do this when encountering any new obstacle
2. Raised the Range Rover to off-road height with the air suspension
3. Engaged Low range and either mud/ruts or Rock crawl TR Setting before entering the mud
Also since the SC Range Rovers ride on all season perfomance tires they are not really all that great in the mud. That is one of the reasons Land Rover should offer a smaller wheel and tire choice on the Range Rover with more agressive off-road tread pattern.
