Summary I feel bad that a car gives me so much pleasure - but driving the Acura RDX really is a very nice experience. The driving position is great - relatively high but not like driving a truck, it handles and accelerates well and the lights and voice controls make you feel like you are landing an aeroplane. It is also very comfortable, has an amazing sound system and everything feels good quality. It handles well in the snow and just about fits two bikes in the back. A slight negative is that the Tech buttons have been arranged very aesthetically but not very ergonomically and reading the manual that describes them all is more homework than I was expecting. The normal driving controls are all simple enough.
Overall I love it - I was thinking of buying a BMW X3 but the one we tested seemed to have a transmission problem which is apparently common and it felt a risk to pay a lot more for a car that might have problems. I'm very glad I decided on the RDX. Its my first Acura and so far I'm thrilled.

Cons nothing - could have bigger trunk space - plenty for my dogs and what i need though.

Summary one of your cons is a little off ... you can access your cellphone phone book - you just have to have the rdx nav system download it first. i guess it can be a pain to keep updating the download if you constantly add new contacts - but i update mine once a month and its fine ... it gives you the ability to dial by name from the nav system with the middle nob. :) thx for the review though - good work.

Pros I have never sold an Acura because they are extremely reliable. My first Acura, a 1990 Integra RX, I gave to my Mother, who still is driving the car.

Cons None, the car meets all my needs.

Summary All, but one review questionable review, were very positive. I suspect the one poor review was from a BMW owner.

Summary If you're looking for speed and luxury, I recommend this Acura. The leather seats are supple and very comfortable, the Navigation system is one of the best out there, and the AWD is a winner in any weather conditions. You can't compare this car to other top brands - including the BMW X3. I get up in the morning and I literally can't wait to drive. This car, with it's super-fast turbo engine, actually tempts me to drive...and drive fast.
