The Bottom Line The 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited makes a valiant effort at incorporating tech but falls short because of poor integration. In everything but fuel economy, it is a practical vehicle. The 2009 Nissan Murano benefits from trickle-down tech options available in Nissan's top models and seems to work best when fully optioned. Regardless of tech options, the Murano is a nimble urban navigator. As a tech car, the 2010 Subaru Outback is average at best, lacking many modern amenities. All-wheel-drive is its saving grace, giving it good weather capabilities. A very drivable and capable-feeling car, the 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5XT Limited's cabin tech options offer just the minimum of modern automotive convenience. While the 2009 Mistubishi Outlander's tech package is still at the head of its class and it still gives great performance at a great price point, the rough ride and cheap interior hold it back from greatness.
