The Bottom Line The 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited makes a valiant effort at incorporating tech but falls short because of poor integration. In everything but fuel economy, it is a practical vehicle. While the 2009 Mistubishi Outlander's tech package is still at the head of its class and it still gives great performance at a great price point, the rough ride and cheap interior hold it back from greatness. The 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L's small size and Civic-like handling make it a great choice for city dwellers who occasionally need to haul things--or people. While the cabin tech is impressive, a few more features, such as Bluetooth or iPod connectivity, would make it a home run. The 2009 Nissan Murano benefits from trickle-down tech options available in Nissan's top models and seems to work best when fully optioned. Regardless of tech options, the Murano is a nimble urban navigator. A very drivable and capable-feeling car, the 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5XT Limited's cabin tech options offer just the minimum of modern automotive convenience.
