"A Great, Fun Car with Dual-Purpose Amenities"
Pros: Great style and the ability to go off road.
Cons: Not the best fuel economy.
Summary: Not sure why C-net chose to review a two-wheel drive when it's clear the reviewer was looking for the true Jeep experience. My thoughts are that some, but not many, people will find usefulness in the two-wheel drive version. For the rest of us, the new Liberty in it's 4-wheel drive versions offers a very comfortable daily with the ability to go camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and beaching. Could it really be any better? It's also full of nice technical touches including the uConnect system which paired instantly with my iPhone and now lets me easily call people with voice commands. I just traded in a 2006 Saab 9-5 for this Jeep and, so far, the Jeep is proving to be a much more comfortable, invigorating, and fun drive. No joke.
