Summary: I've owned mine for over seven months now and every time I get in it and drive it, it feels like its just rolled off the lot. It gets up and goes, especially if you have the AWD option. Honestly the video and the reviewer from CNET I think...and probably is bi-est. I think the driver doesn't like Mazda and Saw what an amazing job the company did with the vehicle he had to go and bash it "look at the nav screen that's awful." Honestly if your going to choose and option to add to your vehicle your not going to choose it and go " well that just looks crapy" and it better then getting and on dash gps that rolls over when you make a turn...FYI mounting a gps by suction cup to you windshield is ILLEGAL in the state of California. with this screen at least you get 7 inches to view, as opposed to the AVG 3.5 inch screens...
Besides that The white pearl mica paint makes the car glimmer in the sunlight, although white is a hassle to keep clean. Plenty of leg room and head room, I'm 6'5 and I DO NOT feel cramped in this vehicle at all, except in the third row seating...the third row is perfect for children or small family members. I'm also sure that CNET forgot to put that it won numerous awards including
2008 North American Truck of the Year
2008 SUV of the Year, Motor Trend Magazine
5 Star crash rating front and side impact crashes.
and about a dozen other to date .
I wonder how you get those awards if your SUV is "awful". Well anyways My Bleutooth works perfectly fine all the time, and the blindspot monitoring has saved me many times while on the road. Even though this is classified as a "Crossover" but really is a SUV it handles like a car, able to handle tight curves and not feeling as if your going to rollover. need I say the braking is awesome, with all four wheels helping you to stop. The suspension is perfect for the size, its not a lofty ride nor is it a bumpy one, Perfect for its size and use. Perfect ground clearance for its size low enough to be able to take a seat easily...really its like lust taking a seat at the perfect height...not too high and not too low...remember you have power seats to help make this possible. Folding of the second tand third row seating is easy as well 1. pull tab and let seat fall down...how easy is that. no bolts, screws, hooks, or two man team to get this folded, just 1. What a quite ride it is even at idle with windows down you can barely hear the engine...seriously I almost cranked the car again the only that stopped me was RPM tachometer was at 600 rpm's. With the Bose Speaker system in it your ride is as isolated as it can get without making mods to your car. Hear your music wit the 6 disc in dash CD changer and enjoy the drive. our if you want Switch to AUX or even your DVD player. To really gives this the edge... in the third row seating area you have an actual electrical outlet and a RCA hookup unit, so if you wanted to i.e you can hookup you PS2, N64, XBOX or what ever else you like and view it on the lcd screen in the car and hear it through the Bose audio.
All this is the best vehicle you can choose if your looking for and SUV with all the trimmings for a reasonable price and most of all ZOOM-ZOOM!
