"good car for europe"
3.0 starson by firstmentalPros: larger and wider but much shorter than a large car, suspension tuned for rough city streets, enough comfort for trips of average length, great economy with diesel engine standard almost everywhere as long as you don't accelerate too hard
Cons: no cruise in europe (but that's normal) and if you meet another wide car, something more than a Mazda 2, BMW 118d, or Hyundai Atos, you start to sweat on narrow streets. standard audio isn't as nice here as in USA.
Summary: Seems like here in europe, the Micra outsells other Nissans several times over. The Rogue (which is sold as the Qashqai outside the USA) gives people a clue that something besides the Micra, an occassional Note (the Versa hatchback in the USA) and the rare 370ZX are there from Nissan. It would be nice if Nissan would use this opportunity to put a really first rate small SUV (large SUV here) in front of the public that shows it makes a true World Car. Personally, I'd like to see the diesel that is used everywhere except the USA brought here. It is just as powerful, just as stink-free, and just as quiet as the gasoline engine we get in the USA, but gets about 50% better milage in suburban driving. So why not?
