"Superlative car!"
Pros: * Hi - quality
* Hi - tech
* Superb engine (you gotta drive it to believe it)
* Fast and agile
* Leaves all other brands behind!Cons: Not much of trumpet blowing from the manufacturer!!
Summary: Any other manufacturer of a car of this quality will be blowing their trumpets (may be VW wont be able to match demand?). But, I hardly see an ad. Infact, I wasn't impressed reading the reviews from automagazines. When I drove it, I was awe struck!
Car magazine reviews are lop-sided (more than usual) as this car seems to affect a large number of brands and models.
Bought a 125 TSI, Auto. Drives incredibly well. I don't think any other brand even comes close to this. Very powerful engine which zooms past almost everything in the highway. Pulls like a train when going on mountain roads. The 4 motion awd system is incomparable - we got into slush and it handled things so easily (not even off-road pack!). Tiptronic in sports mode is awesome. The amount of power the car generates just above idling speed is amazing. The steering will take time to get used to (feels soft). But, I find it very accurate. Brakes are ABS with EBD as standard. Pirelli P6 tyres are standard. ESP is standard. The car is an exceptionally well built one - you have to go searching to find a comparable car!
