"EcoBoost Flex disaster."2.0 starson by Tinkchinkas
Pros: The car is extremely comfortable, and has more than enough space. It also comes with Sony audio, which provides a great experience with the radio. Additionally, the car is extremely unique; it looks like a fashionable box on wheels.
Cons: The EcoBoost engine is extremely unreliable, and rather loud. There is also some sort of design flaw with the wheels--in only half a year, the car managed to score itself three flat tires. The gas mileage is not very good.
Summary: When purchasing the car in October 2010, the Flex was amazing. It was comfortable, it provided ample space for its passengers, and the gas mileage isn't flat out bad; however, it's not great, either. Within three weeks of purchasing the car, though, there was a flat tire. A month later, there was another one. Then, the engine started to "chatter," causing the need to replace a cracked spark plug. After fixing that problem, the car was fine for another month. Then, the engine started to chatter again. The car was dropped off at the dealership for another half-week, and they "fixed" the problem. The car provided 10 miles of driving, and, again, the engine chattered. They fixed THAT one, again, and the car was fine for a week. Then, another flat tire was dealt to the car. Now, the car is being lemon-lawed. Good bye, Ford Flex.
