Bottom line
The new MyFord Touch cabin tech system in the 2011 Ford Explorer is surprisingly buggy, but otherwise this SUV offers plenty of room and easy onroad driving.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee bristles with tech that makes it not only a very comfortable and luxurious SUV, but a very capable off-road vehicle, as well.
The 2011 Ford Edge's cutting-edge instrument cluster will appeal to technologists, and the vehicle provides a very practical form factor in an attractive package.
The 2012 Ford Edge, with the EcoBoost engine, makes for a very practical family hauler, with a useful range of cabin electronics. The cabin tech interface might be flawed, but Ford has a fix on the way.
