"Mostly Good. Bossy look!"4.0 starson by trillyizzle
Pros: Looks good. Drives like a car. Stereo sounds good. Lots of room. Dual and rear climate. Steering wheel buttons. Sync (most the time). Reverse camera.
Cons: Sometimes SYNC buggs out.
Selecting using the touch screen: you have to push pretty hard.. and it takes a second to register. Also, don't rest your hand on the console while pushing the touch screen. You will push a random touch button below the screen.
Summary: I will say the main reason I bought the Explorer is because it was a Ford (American made), and I get "A Plan," but I am pretty pleased with it too. I like the modern look. And for a comfy sized 7 passenger vehicle, it drives like a mid size car. I don't think SYNC missed the mark as much as I think the touch screen did. They should have taken the queue from touch screen phones on design and UI. Over all, take away the small issues with SYNC and MyFord Touch, and the vehicle is pretty solid. BTW my gas mileage is at an average of 18.5 MPG.
