Pros: No longer have to use Premium Gas in this one
No more squeeks and a smoother ride.
Better gas mileage.
Cons: The initial acceleration is not a quick, but it only took a minute for me to get adjusted, especially for the gas mileage increase.
I miss my one-touch passenger side window button and my one-touch moonroof/sunroof features.
Summary: I came from a 2007 Mazda CX-7 Touring, w/Turbo engine. Yes I enjoyed the speed I was able to achieve from the 2007, but I didn't enjoy the engine noise that, I was told that that engine would make no matter what type of gas I put in it. I didn't like the gas mileage I was receiving either. I really liked my 18" wheels on the 2007, but to be quite honest after only a week I realize that the ride in the 2011 is acutally better. I don't know what sound system CNET is listening to, but I am totally enjoying this system...I love this vehicle and the Grand has a navigation system, big deal, if you are like most you a GPS or it's on your telephone.....Why pay more money for that. So take it from an actual owmer of a 2007 & 2011 CX-7, this is a great car for the money. I also like the full maintenance you receive for the first 3 years of owning your vehicle.
