Pros: Very nice, as CNET noted.
Best technology .... I'm not sure.

Cons: X5 handling is good for SAV, but not the best handling of the luxury SUV/SAV's. Audi Q5 and Porsche Cayenne are comparatively superior, IMO.

Summary: I've owned 7 new BMW's, 3 new Audis, and currently have a Porsche Cayenne Diesel on order. Biding my time reading thru the free Porche-provided iPhone/iPad App ("Introduction to Porsche Cayenne"), and the Cayenne technology in 2012 models is way beyond anything I've previously owned (to be fair, "technology marches on" and I haven't driven the lastest BMW X5 to compare technology, but I did drive one before I decided on my Audi Q5; X5 handling too lacking for my tastes.
