Pros Technology, Looks, Room, Access to 3rd row, Best in class fuel economy
Cons If you are power hungry...may not be tbe best option.
Summary Excellent luxury CUV for someone who wants everything. Audi Q7/BMW X5 are more expensive and less roomy. Audi Q7 doesn't even have the power. Acura MDX lacks the technology and out-of-date design.
Pros Super soft and quiet ride
Amazing technology and safety features
Amazing, booming Bose 15 speaker sound system
Beautiful Interior with soft seats
Perfectly Adequate engine
Active Trace control with Intelligent AWD
Great Fuel Economy
Cons 0-60 time is not stellar, but sufficient
Awkwardly Low second row seats
Some navigation features disabled while driving (may not bother some)
Summary My family and I decided that it was time to retire our 2005 Honda Odyssey. The cars we had in mind were the BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz ML-350, Range Rover Sport, or the Land Rover LR4. It never occurred to us to even consider an Infiniti, but the JX35 was the perfect fit. The feature set and technology was unrivaled by any of the other cars we were considering, especially for the money. We took delivery of a Black exterior, Java (brown) interior with the Deluxe Touring, Premium Package, Theater Package, Driver Assistance Package, and the Technology Package, all of which together brought the final price to $55k. This was amazing value compared to a lesser feature packed X5 for upwards of $65k.-jetcen55
The overall quality of the car is no less then any of the cars we listed below. Everything feels solidly built with great choice of materials. The ride quality is amazingly soft and quiet, i almost couldn't believe it, because it was of a level of a much pricier car. The endless safety features such as the back-up collision intervention, lane departure warning and assist, and last but not least blind spot warning and intervention. The list goes on and on but my favorite feature was the intelligent cruise control with its ability to automatically increase or decrease the speed of the car to maintain the desired distance to the car ahead. It's best in my opinion for slow moving traffic. It takes some time to fully trust the car, but you soon realize it does its job well without freaking out the driver.
I think it says a lot that we chose the JX35 over cars many consider to be in a higher class such as the Audi Q7 or the BMW X5, but I can confidently say it was the best choice we could have made because the car fits all of our needs and then some. It is superior in technology, drive quality and value.

i had a similar gripe with the lack of an aux port, but a quick fix for this would be to use a RCA audio cable, which you plug into the RCA port next to the usb port. It then allows you to control your music device directly instead of through the car.
Pros Smoooth, quiet ride with plenty of power. This car drives like a dream. If you want a sports car, look elsewhere. I have the fully loaded AWD and feel it is a great value as compared to the competitors. The techology in the JX is incredile.
Cons Haven't come across anything yet.
Summary This is a great family car and you get a lot for your money. If you can afford the extra packages, I feel they are worth it. I never got excited about cars until the JX arrived. Its fun to drive and in traffic, the safety features make it effortless to drive. Check out the Infinity JX forums to see what others are saying before you decide.
Pros Everything that you see is a pro, its a beater for Audi Q7 and over said BMW X5 ( which is a crap).
Too much comfortable and excellent accident prevention system in it.
Gas mileage I am getting about 21 combine
Cons I wish it has a AUX for an IPOD instead of a USB thing because I like to play sometimes selective songs by search in it but with the hard drive based NAV everything syncs up automatically in it.
So other than that every thing is too good in the car
Summary Best in its class features.
Better and cheaper on the long run than any German car.
Perfect MPG and Comfort.
Most spacious luxury as 7 Seater.
Adaptive Cruise is the best thing in the world a person can want in a car for Freeways and traffic jams.
