Summary: My family and I decided that it was time to retire our 2005 Honda Odyssey. The cars we had in mind were the BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz ML-350, Range Rover Sport, or the Land Rover LR4. It never occurred to us to even consider an Infiniti, but the JX35 was the perfect fit. The feature set and technology was unrivaled by any of the other cars we were considering, especially for the money. We took delivery of a Black exterior, Java (brown) interior with the Deluxe Touring, Premium Package, Theater Package, Driver Assistance Package, and the Technology Package, all of which together brought the final price to $55k. This was amazing value compared to a lesser feature packed X5 for upwards of $65k.-jetcen55
The overall quality of the car is no less then any of the cars we listed below. Everything feels solidly built with great choice of materials. The ride quality is amazingly soft and quiet, i almost couldn't believe it, because it was of a level of a much pricier car. The endless safety features such as the back-up collision intervention, lane departure warning and assist, and last but not least blind spot warning and intervention. The list goes on and on but my favorite feature was the intelligent cruise control with its ability to automatically increase or decrease the speed of the car to maintain the desired distance to the car ahead. It's best in my opinion for slow moving traffic. It takes some time to fully trust the car, but you soon realize it does its job well without freaking out the driver.
I think it says a lot that we chose the JX35 over cars many consider to be in a higher class such as the Audi Q7 or the BMW X5, but I can confidently say it was the best choice we could have made because the car fits all of our needs and then some. It is superior in technology, drive quality and value.

i had a similar gripe with the lack of an aux port, but a quick fix for this would be to use a RCA audio cable, which you plug into the RCA port next to the usb port. It then allows you to control your music device directly instead of through the car.
