Pros Very responsive, sits firm on the road. Despite it being a heavy vehicle it doesn't feel slugish. Plenty of room, one of the most comfortable 7 passengers I've tried out and I got a chance to try them all at the NY international auto show.
Cons I did have problems with the sunroof the rubber on the track wasn't in place correctly, took it in and they fixed it.
The rear glass does have a blind spot but I found that if I just lower the headrest for the 3rd row seats it solved that problem.
Summary Wonderful car overall. Comfortable ride everything feels like good quality, even the plastic parts. It has more to offer than other cars in the same category including some luxury brands. Good job Nissan.
Pros 2013 Nissan Pathfinder struck us with its design.
Cons Our two month old 2013 Nissan Pathfinder brock down four times: transmission hose fell off (the car had to be towed), overdrive did not work from the beginning, front lights burnt out, trunk door rubbed paint off the car due to bad alignment.
Summary Think twice before you decide to buy this vehicle.
We bought the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder (SL version 45K) in January/13. By now, the SUV broke down 4 times: transmission hose fell off (the car had to be towed), overdrive did not work from the beginning, front lights burnt out, trunk door rubbed paint off the car due to bad alignment. All of these are manufacturing defects. We highly recommend this vehicle if you like to drive dirty service cars or unsuccessfully deal with Nissan Customer Service.
Nissan is very proud of their design and manufacturing and believe that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Bravo Nissan Canada!
