"Refined and capable Jeep carries the torch."4.5 starson by dewhitty
Pros: Fabulously quiet
8.4 Nav screen segment leading if not better
Much better MPG than Liberty or XJ's
Off-road suspension package with Limited is excellent Trailhawk compromise
Comfortable, well appointed interior
Fun easter eggs
4500pnd tow capacity
Cons: MPG economy not as good as other vehicles outside of its class and some in its class but reasonable compromise for quietness of interior cabin and 4500 pound towing.
Looks are polarizing but has an aerodynamic function as well as a clean design.
Summary: Jeep made a thoughtful offering with this Cherokee. Having owned a Patriot and still own a XJ, this Cherokee carries the torch above and beyond.
The cabin is amazingly quiet and the touch screen Nav system has plenty of features to keep the most tech savvy individual satisfied.
Full lengthy panoramic glass roof provides a nice open feel.
There are also redundant buttons for common features for the radio and climate system.
Having 4500 pounds towing with the MPG rating also is a great combination.
The off-road suspension albeit without plates and a rear locker is a nice option for those not wanting to go full Trailhawk tilt.
Looking forward to taking this vehicle on beach, ski, and bicycle outings as well as back trail "roads" which other vehicles in this class absolutely could not handle as well if at all.
