"Not good for experienced users"
3.0 starson by privatename9Pros: Its great that it remembers your data and backs it up. AWESOME
Cons: it picks & chooses which data it will back up. It won't transfer .eml files, .exe files, & the way that it stores the data it is very difficult to rummage through all directories to find your files. Last, when you move content, it makes dupes on
Summary: Bottom line, great concept, needs work, and I'm not sure that it was meant for file backup. The research I show is photo backup....i thought that was just a "marketing" thing. If you are looking for a system to back up all files....this might not be the way to go. Do further research and talk to HP to see if my information may be inaccurate. I've contacted support myself about these issues. But I did try 5 times to transfer some very important data between computers. Finally I had to zip folders so that it wouldn't recognize the .exe and .eml extensions. I still don't know what is on the hard drive and what is not. I PERSONALLY don't have time to search through all directories to see what is missing....that is a major issue.
forgot to mention that additionally the way it stores the back up, I have to go into 10 separate directories to get to my data. Fortunately I know my way around, a newbie wouldn't. I finally had to put a shortcut in the main directory in order to overcome rummaging through the files to get to my data.
