"High failure rate"2.0 starson
Summary: Two of these drives went out on me this week!!! One of them had a loose connection or something which made it go "T-T-T-T....T-T-T-T....T-T-T-T" after powerup even if the IDE cable was removed. Touching the IDE connector sometimes made the problem go away temporarily. The other had trouble writing to disk. The drives were very hot, even when they were not used. Not recommended even in a RAID array, because several can fail on you at once, before you've had a chance to recover!!!
