"Failed to deliver product."
Pros: No Pros, do not reccomend any business with IOLO. They owe me Money and will not refund.
Cons: Used version 6 several years. Ordered DIRECT from email solicitation. After approx 45 days and one promise from customer 'non-service', I have no CD and no refund. Today I filed complaint with Texas Attorney Genral's Office.
Summary: $40 gone, trial download failed, and they seem not care about their CUSTOMER. It would seem they also have no concern for their reputation. My system runs better without the software.

I totally agree with this review, although I would add that on my part I sent iolo an email telling them that "I will never buy another product from them again, etc., etc........" To which they responded months later simply stating that a new version had been released that had fix previous problems and was available to me at no charge (to replace the previous version I had which I had ALREADY uninstalled). This version, while not as bad, was still horrible. It slows your machine, web browsing,- virtually everything - to an unbearable almost grinding halt. I uninstalled this version as well and my machine is running great. This was version 8. I have been TRYING to use System Mechanic since version 4 came out and I have always had problems with this software and have always had to resort to uninstalling it to get my machine back to running right. I would not recommend this "utility" to even the most inexperienced PC user.
