"Its the age of CORE 2 Duo NOT Core Duo"
Pros: Screen functionality, Battery Life, Fingerprint reader
Cons: Expensive, No Touchpad still, no Optical Drive, 1 year warrenty (Per Lenovo website) not 3 years,
Summary: Ok I guess that sums it up. Lenovo makes great laptops, but they don't seem to listen to users. Where is the Touchpad. with a powerful laptop I like a touchpad. Call me retro but I am used to it, and that rosy thing sticking like a (whatever) does not satisfy my needs.
Plus if Gateway started making their tablets Core 2 Duo several months ago, how come Lenovo is still behind on that. We all know it is much more superior than the older Core Duo. Warranty also went down to 1 year from 3 years in older models. Need I say more. We are certainly seeing a drop here in Lenovo Standards. For God's sake, I did not expect Gateways E285 to beat this in Benchmark tests.
I guess I am gonna pass this time on Lenovo, awaiting for their next innovative wake up call. Vista is coming soon, and it will need all the power of Core 2 Duo.
