"Very Impressed with so far and fingerprint scanner is awesome!!!!"
Pros: ? Convertible Laptop that can also function as a tablet. ? Disk drive / DVD Burner. ? Dual Core Processor ? Screen in Beautiful (I have the upgraded screen with high resolution). ? Great performance
Cons: Trying to adjust to a 12" screen. HIgher resolution means harder to see icons and text.
Summary: I have to say that this laptop has a lot of sizzle. I upgraded from a Toshiba Tecra M2 and I am very pleased. I customized this laptop so that it has a 2.0 dual core processor with 1 gig memory in one slot so I can upgrade up the road to more memory. I also got the higher resolution screen which is very nice. I personally will use it more as a laptop rather than a tablet. I am in sales and it is appealing to me to be able to swivel the screen towards the customer. I love the compact size for traveling combined with the top of the line power that this computer offers. I am always on the road and have to carry my laptop everywhere so this is perfect for me. I have yet to run into any issues and I love the fingerprint scanner. One nice feature is that you can register sites that require username and password so that all that you have to do is swipe your finger and all the info is automatically plugged in for you. This eliminates constantly typing in your information. It also feels a lot more secure.

The Tecra M4 is more powerful and its size is incomprehensible. The M400 is too small and should be used more for children.

do you think that in a quiet room the constant fan would be loud enough to be disruptive?

Does anyone have experience with both the Toshiba Portege M400 and the Fujitsu T4020 and is there a clear winner?

Hi,
I'm considering buying the Portege m400, and I was wondering what it's like to write on the screen? One thing that would be important to me in choosing a tablet PC is that the screen offers some "resistance" when using the tablet pen, so that when writing it feels like I'm writing on paper, not on a glossy-smooth screen. How is this screen's resistance?
Thanks,

Just wondering if you've experienced the constant fan running that the other user mentioned? I am have strongly considered buying this tablet after tons of research, but I would not enjoy hearing the fan run constantly. Thanks.
