"Fast Tablet PC only 999.99 at officedepot"

Pros: Great price, nice screen and very responsive

Cons: The only way it could be better is if the battery lasted 12 hours
Summary: This tablet, convertible or whatever you want to call it is the best laptop I have ever purchased! At 6.2 lbs it is not heavy. It replaced a Toshiba A65-S1070 that weighed over 8 lbs! The A65 had a 3GHZ HT processor and ran incredibly hot and the 12cell battery never lasted more than 2.5hrs! The R15 on the other had does not get hot eventhough I have it on for 10+ hours (plugged in) and the battery lasts 4+ hours if you tweak the power settings and turn off the power to the optical drive. Its equipped with a vibration sensor that parks the heads on the HD to protect it if it gets bumped or dropped. It comes with Office OneNote which is great way to keep track of notes and anything else you may want to write down. It's integrates with outlook so that you can email handwritten notes. It recognizes my chicken-scratch better than I do and converts it into text whenever the need arises. The tablet pen is tucked into a little hole on the side which makes it hard to lose. The speed of this computer is on par with my A65 at 3GHZ eventhough the GHz rating is only 1.7GHZ! I could go on and on about this great laptop but the one of the best things about it is the look that I get when someone sees me flip the display and fold it down into tablet mode - I always chuckly inside my head! These are the features:

-512 Ram
-DVD ram drive, dual layer, etc...
-removable media bay (for 2nd hd or optical drive)
-Internal SD reader
-3 USB ports
-Firewire
-Built in microphone
-On/off switch for internal 802.11g Wifi
-1 pc card slot
-OneNote button on the side which can be programmed to start a different program
