"Great Laptop"
Pros: Dual-core is fast, ATA-150, quiet, next to no heat, finger print works for websites, dvdram, solid keyboard, lots of ram and expandable, fast video
Cons: Default resolution of 1480x900 is fine, lower resolutions blur a bit with the tablet PC coating
Summary: I've been looking at tablets for about a month now. This is for sure the best price for performance (with the exception maybe of the gateway) and it's a Toshiba! Battery life is great, built in Toshiba software includes an auto update manager, wifi tools look nice with active desktop graphical ping tool to locate wifi nodes.
Using the tablet takes a bit of time, but if your one of those people who feel like they are more creative writing than typing and you want a laptop that nearly the fastest (there are better game machines) this one is it.
I haven't tried to run Civ4 on it yet, but I have a feeling with the Nvidia card, it will do just fine.
Toshiba's are next to Sony in my book for quality, they do themselves justice, they could charge $500 more for this laptop when compared to others on the market.
The only thing I would change is to be able to lower the resolution without loosing the sharp screen, this is probably a side effect of the "tough" tablet screen.
I bought the 3 year accidental warranty at Compusa, this added $350 to the price, but I plan on using this baby for years and years.

I thought this tablet only came with Intel integrated graphics, but you mentioned an nVidia video card. Are you sure you have an R25, and not a Tecra M7?
