"Best option on the market!"
4.0 starson by hulsey76Pros: Full unadulterated version of Honeycomb 3.2. 7" makes it very portable. It didn't cost $600 ($249.99 brand new at Gamestop)
Cons: None that I can find.
Summary: The two biggest complaints I read about this tablet are viewing angles and battery life. As for battery life, what do you want? Before tablets, the best portable option was a clunky laptop that got 3.5 hrs at best. Now viewing angles - its a tablet designed to be held in the hands for your own personal viewing. Tablets aren't meant for broadcasting movies to an audience. If you decode most of the tablet reviews for any tablet on the market, what you end up with is: "I need a laptop, but I don't want a laptop so I expect my tablet to be a laptop, and I'm unhappy that my tablet isn't a laptop." Well duh...no wonder so many tablets get horrible reviews.
On the other hand, if you understand the purpose of a tablet and don't expect it to be a home theater/NASA mainframe, you can't go wrong with the Acer A100. It's portable, feature-rich, and has plenty of processing power. Take the plunge. If you're waiting on the next best thing to come out you'll be waiting forever because the next best thing always comes out after you've bought something else.
