"Everything I expected ! Awesome device A+++"5.0 starson by DeanRP
Pros: size, price, simple to use, amazon integration, speed
Cons: no volume rocker, no expansion of memory
Summary: I was absolutely torn between the Fire and the Nook Tablet. I use Amazon a lot, I purchase things all the time, etc. I already had an earlier gen Kindle, however I wasn't partial to it by any means and was thinking about getting the Nook Tablet. I spent a couple hours on different days reading reviews and was pretty much town down the middle on the two products. I already own an iPad 2 so for me it was just to get a cool smaller eReader really. I have the benefit of having my iPad 2 for any heavy lifting I need to do with a tablet, so after going to Best Buy and talking with a few guys there, I decided to grab the Kindle Fire off of Amazon.
It does everything I need it to and for people knocking it for not being blue tooth, for not having a camera, etc. Don't buy it then, buy another tablet that has all that, I mean for $200, it is everything I expected and MORE. I love it, of course its not an iPad 2 and I knew that, but it sure gives me the feeling of having an awesome eReader and its truly like having a mini iPad in my hands. Very fast, Netflix and Hulu plus look great on it, internet browsing is great and of course I would just take Amazon over Barnes and Noble. But that's just my own opinion. I was a little nervous with Barnes and Noble as every book store chain around is going out of business and in the end, I just felt more comfortable with Amazon
