Cons: No volume rocker. Power button on bottom. No full Android Market. Unresponsive touchscreen. Carousel interface.
No privacy options on order process and historical foot prints (web history and recent apps).Summary: I was excited to get this two days after announced early ship date.
After the initial honeymoon excitement wore off. I am now sending it back.
Even at $199. There were too many negatives for me to keep.
The software, the unresponsiveness of the screen, and security/privacy issues of the Fire were just too frustrating.

I totally agree. Especially with the unresponsive touchscreen!! I will be returning it tomorrow, never to try another one.

How could you leave out the issues related to the UI? I can't believe you actually "used" this device before writing a review if you didn't experience all the UI bugs. It's awful. Within an hour of unpacking I was already packing back up to return to Amazon due to these issues.
