  • "The best iPad yet, which doesn't say much"
    3.5 stars

Pros: Easiest iOS in the world- great for kids, seniors and beginners
    Faster
    Retina screen makes a difference
    Newest 128gb version
    Status symbol
    The App Store
Made even better with a jailbreak

Cons: Not the best on the market
    Priced to break ur bank
Gets very hot which can damage it/u
Thicker and heavier than previous modles
    No internal expandable memory options
Apple updates means it won't be the 'best for long'

Summary: WARNING: what most ppl won't tell u is this thing is HOT. Not on the market in ur handsOn 100% and charge u will be burnedThe only problem is not every1 experiences this and since these are standardized machines the fact that they are not all the same makes the construction questionable anything that hot can damage processors but apple claims theyre testing has covered this and all heat flucuations are within operational standards.... However: RETINA does matter and u can tell the difference easily between previous version. While reading this is mostly important and if ur into photo editong or gaming this is the ipad for u. SIZE does matter and with the new 128gb (look at it as a $100 upgrade) -note if u don't care about internal storage, want versatile storage and are willing to jump through a few hoops format wise u can go with a seagate wireless plus external wifi hotspot hard drive, which is a $200 1 terabyte media upgrade. In the end bigger is better if only for the ability to optimize that space when needed and nv worry about reaching ur limit(Perfect combo? 128gb iPad 4 wifi+4g lte with seagate wireless plus: Package cost? $1129 (for that u could buy 3 iPad minis). SPEED matters and this is the fastest iPad yet. And if ur buying apple STATUS is a motivator and it matters. However unless they are to close for comfort no one is going to be able to tell this is the newest iPad from a distance.
If status is ur main motivator and ur new to iPads go with the IPAD MINI (which has the guts of an iPad 2) which is clearly recognizable or the iPad 2 which is thinner, lighter and cheaper than the newest version, who's gonna know?
