Cons Its just an expensive toy. All of the hype from the media "oh it will change computing" I don't really see happening (typing this on my netbook right now). It doesn't replace any peripherals, it adds one. on by jakemochasj | Read full review

Cons - Like iPod BUT lacks portability
- Apps more expensive than iPod
- How do you get pictures onto it? No SD slot, poor home networking.
- Tied to iTunes
- 4:3 screen so modern videos are very small and letterbox
- no webcam
- Too heavy and awkward on by c_hack | Read full review -
Cons No background tasks sucks big time:
Try to share a link with someone and no multi-tasking.

Cons It is absurd to not have a video camera. This would be the perfect device for video chat. No multi-tasking for something close to $900 makes it expensive. Poor book selection. No Flash makes websites not usable. No stylus or writing recognition. on by martyjos | Read full review

Cons Overheating: this is unfortunately a deal breaker.
I guess with the smaller screens on the ipod (touch) and the iphone, I didn't notice the finger prints as much. The iPad really shows off the prints from swiping. on by DravenStele | Read full review -

Cons By nature, it's big so you need something large enough to hold it. I'm kinda scared to scratch the screen. on by tylercooperman | Read full review

Cons No Flash, Web Cam, SD or USB interfaces. All can be, hopefully, dealt with via expansion devices. Needs to be able to do real cell phone capabilities soon to get rid of any other device. on by bigdaddympd | Read full review

Cons No memory expansion (SD)
No camera/vid
No Multitasking (could be coming soon as iPhone OS 4 is being announced Apr 8th). on by bajadaze | Read full review -
Cons No flash makes searching for video content cumbersome. Someone has to blink in this war. A little heavier than I thought. For $500, a few more accessories would be nice. Honestly, the lack of multi-tasking is less than the Iphone (go figure). on by dgolden | Read full review

Cons The capabilities of the platform cry for direct support for moving desktop documents to and from the device and viewing MS Word, Excel, PPT, and PDF. The means to move and view documents is clunky, only supported by 3rd party apps. on by B. Scott Andersen | Read full review

Cons ? Many of the forthcoming applications are not ready yet. Publishers are working hard to catch up.
? This will hurt kindle sales as the e-book experience on iPad is incredible.
? Small newspapers/publishers will need to work harder to create content. on by dansterpower | Read full review -
Cons Nothing new to speak about. And many of the programs from Apple and App store are half functional products. on by techguy1986 | Read full review

Cons Videos (need to encode your movies is not fun), Internet (no flash), gaming (most PROPER games require buttons)
Lack of multitasking hurts business software.
If your going for games, the NDS or PSP is a much better and more affordable option. on by amd098 | Read full review
