"Hmm, Isn't this a Large Ipod Touch?"
1.5 starson by SaltivaPros: Looks and feels nice- GREAT PRESENTATION! Does some pretty neat things and the GUI is cool.
Cons: Too expensive for this large Ipod! Too big for portability. Limited functions/features to take on net/notebooks in the same price range. Price for accessories is high! They get ya with the upgrade pricing and extras.
Summary: Things you can buy for the same amount of dough: Laptop, netbook, pc, Blu-Ray Player, Real nice Camera, and a game system with accessories. If I were to buy an Apple product it'd probably be an Ipod Touch which is basically the smaller more portable version of this; however, the Zune HD has an High Def output to TV and my brother dispayed it for my on my HDTV, pretty cool! Ipod Touch does have some apps and functions that I'd like to have but if you really look at what these devices are: Media Devices, then you have to admit the Zune HD delivers media content in a much more audio/videophile manner, i.e. it looks and sounds better!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the I-Maxi-Pad as I tested at Apple Store in Gardens Mall doesn't have a camera- what a piece of useless treasure= be like a pirate finding a bottle of salt water in a burried chest.

This is honestly one of the dumbest reviews I EVER read. I really feel like i wasted five minutes of my life.

I'm confused. You're saying this is too big to be portable, but then you are saying to get a laptop, which would almost certainly he bigger and heavier? And what does a Blu-Ray player or Zune have to do with anything? You could also buy groceries with that money, or give it to charity, or buy a fur coat, but putting it in this "review" makes absolutely NO sense. And what can the Zune do aside from its basic functions? You might as well be comparing a coffee mug to an orange.

If you don't want the iPad, then don't get it. If you want to review the iPad, then test it out first before writing a headscratcher of a review that conspicuously demonstrates your lack of knowledge on the design philosophy that powers Apple's products, which stretches back to Jef Raskin's work with Steve Jobs in the late 1970s, concerning his information appliance model of human interface computing, or what he referred to as "cognetics". And if you're going to call the iPad an oversized iPod Touch, then be ready to be told by a lot of educated people that you haven't the slightest clue what you're saying. Some people buy a Porche to overcompensate, you buy an all-in-one Laptop, netbook, blu-ray playin', 100-megapixel cam, 1,000-terabyte HDD-fitted, HD next-gen super hybrid-device that causes power shortages in your house everytime you turn it on.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but giving a product review without owning the product is pretty much useless. I own an iPad and I wouldn't give a review on the device until I've had some time to play around with it and figure out the pros and cons.

The stench of the Apple loving zombies is infecting the review process... Hey guys... It's really OK if someone doesn't like the latest greatest abomination that Steve Jobs releases upon the world.
Buy your own and write your own review and I guess if you pepper it with enough false praise, you might win a dream date with Steve Jobs himself. -
Astroturfing at its most obvious. No one could realistically be so dense as to mistake the iPad as a "large iPod Touch".

What exactly were you expecting? A large meal and fries? Everyone knew it would be something based on the iPhone OS. It's not meant to replace phones and laptops, so stop comparing it to them.
