  • "For Dec 2010 it was what to get"

Pros: Does what you need it to do. Good battery life. BIG screen. Good touch Screen. Runs Android 2.2 but IMO the OS is a bit apart from the tablet. Price (at the time). Decent update intervals. Easy RMA when you need it.

Cons: A bit sluggish. Sometimes more sometimes less - each firmware update has it's own effect. Only HDMI video out (I'm still in the dark ages lol). No buttons - sometimes I'd rather NOT have to touch the screen.
Archos abandonment issues - they have a tende

Summary: For Dec 2010 this was the best I found for the price. Ipad was out of my league $$. It's pretty good for what I use it for - reading, web browsing, movie watching. Multitasking is overrated since I can't physically do all 3 at once. 3G might be interesting but no until i can purchase just a chunk of data to use in my own time.
