Summary I don't think the average person has a clue about droid OS levels. I know I purchased an 2.1 Eclair but the term meant nothing to me. It does now and looking back at everything I researched I can't find any place that addresses that. The company site also does not offer an option to upgrade (if that is possible). I refuse to do anything that would void my warranty, but a little extra oomph would be good. It would be nice if the company offered a way to help you upgrade, short of buying another device.
