Pros Large storage
Durability of device
Durability of the charger
Cons lack of designated accessories
Summary I've now had my Asus TF300 for a year now. I work for an electronics store so I am constantly using multiple brands devices both old and new.
While the Asus is surely not the fastest booting device, it's performance has been right there with any of the top Androids in terms of processing, storage and graphics. I have three boys from 5-10 and a 9-y/o daughter who use it often and we know how careless that age group could be. So from a durability standpoint, it has weathered several drops (in a case mind you) with no adverse aftereffects. And since the Asus charger isn't one easy to find, I'm still on my original, which is used frequently on the go with no issues to date.
I recommend the Asus TF300 or at this point the TF700 since the latter runs JellyBean.
Pros It's very difficult to come up with one.
Cons - low quality
- very weak GPS capability.
- wifi is also weak
- Poorly designed and poor quality keyboard (purchased separately)
- Many Asus specific features in the OS conflict with some apps.
- Extremely bad customer service.
Summary There's a serious lack of professionalism ASUS overall. From the design, the quality of the product, to the mangement's attiudes and customer service. Asus was an OEM and they can't handle or behave like a real consumer product company. Contact Asus at its headquarters you'd get lots of run-around and utterly incompetent people who are only good at wasting your time. Perhaps they are too shame of theirown products?
Overall, Asus products, including this TF300, are something I would stay away from and not wasting my hard-earned American dollars on.
Pros * Physical keyboard,
* Extra battery life, standard SD card, USB on physical keyboard,
* Acceptable Android OS update frequency,
Cons * The OS (Android) is wrong. Very very poor performance. Always wait the home icons to load, mostly blank home screen,
* Phycial keyboard lost typing functionality after 6 motnhs,
* Same for the app list,
* Apps keep crashing
Summary If you want to buy a tablet for a couple of months, then go with it, otherwise do not buy it.
Pros Superior keyboard to earlier model, ie. much more responsive, well designed exterior, lightweight, and more reliable/smoother than TF101. But...
Cons Very disappointed:
1) Native flash compatibility disabled.
2) Drag & drop has been cheekily (blatantly) disabled* in "my cloud" (pc remote access). Was shocked to find my TF101 works better!
*Mouse arrow reappears in the first clicked spot! ***!
Summary Was previously a big fan of the Transformer range. Asus need to up their game and ensure newer models do not lose functionality compared to the earlier models. A big thumbs down I'm afraid.
Pros i have this tablet. i love it. i have the best performances and the fastest updates!
Cons the cost is very good!
Summary i have samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and it's awful! the asus is the best <3
