"Depends on what you want. Works for me."3.5 starson by DufusDave
Pros: The MID7022 has a capactive touch screen, a slot for a micro SD card, I can watch videos, play music and play games.
Cons: The external speaker is not on the same side as the screen, makes it hard to hear without earphones. The Gallery app shows icons, not file names. The Calendar app wants to connect to Exchange.
Summary: I was looking to buy the wife a new mp3 player and gradually worked my way to the tablets. The Coby MID7022 has a capacitive touch screen (no need for a stylus) and I added a SD to increase memory to 30+ gig. WIFI works fine so an added bonus is that we can surf the web. The 7 inch screen is just right to fit in her purse. Those were the base requirements that I was looking for, so for me this tablet is just fine.
The appslib servers were down the day after Christmas so I couldn't download any apps. That now works and I also installed the Amazon apps and Getjar. No Android Market, but I don't care at the moment. I installed Angry Birds and 2 other games.
The Calendar app may be an Anrdoid issue, not a Coby one. Not sure about Gallery. I installed Zimly to play music and video's so I guess I just have to find and install the apps that work for me.
The MID7022 has a camera. Resolution isn't great but for me that's not an issue.
I can't comment much on battery life. I haven't timed any movies.
Summary: you get what you pay for. For me the the cost and features of the MID7022 are a good balance.
