Pros Everything: screen size, ease of use, portability, the first TRULY all-in-one device
Cons Nothing ( that can't and won't be fixed in the very near future )
Summary Every complaint about the Streak are things that can and will be improved upon (1. 6 to froyo) or simple user error (" The back keeps falling off "). Inside the back of the Streak there are two little circular stickers that when removed will allow the back cover to fit like a glove. All the other negatives I've read here come from people who have never even held the Streak, much less own one, which automatically disqualifies them from passing judgement on this product. As for the Streak being tied to AT&T, I have had no problems. Not one dropped call and as I am on the net constantly I only use about 100 to 175 mb a month because there is wifi access everywhere and no need to use 3g unless in the car. To recap: If you want a device that has a huge beautiful display, allows you to throw away your laptop (or tether to it), has flash support, and is very portable, then get a Dell streak. If you don't like or need all of those things the I would suggest you get an Iphone.
Pros Everything but the camera.
Cons Camera could be better.
Summary I love this phone is pocketable and the phone is not as big as people make it out to be. Its definitely a smartphone not a tablet.
Pros 5 inch Screen
Front Facing Camera
Cons OS 1.6
No Sidloading - At least that what they think.
Summary If you are a techie like me then this is something that you have been waiting for I can do my exchange email and VPN into my existing computer from this device without needing my laptop AND if you?ve heard of jailbreaking the Iphone then you should know about rooting Android as well. So if 1.6 doesn?t do it for you then you can root to the 2.1 Update which makes this device totally ROCK!!
Pros It does fit in your pocket.
Its a perfect size for internet on the move.
Its fast, its reactive.
Great for multimedia.
Cons Connection problems with O2 on mine.
Price of accessories!!!
Summary Well 8 weeks in and this phone/tablet has found a place in my heart after a slightly rocky start. This is the second phone i have had after the first one was faulty. That one constantly lost connection to O2 network, the new one just does it occasionally. Being a bit of a perfectionist i would normally have taken the second one back, but i'm hoping the Froyo update will solve this issue AND more importantly i don't want to let go of the little fella, if a repair was necessary.
The size of the screen is the biggest bonus for me. Just surfing the net in full screen mode is brilliant. I hated the internet on my iPhone but this is spot on. I have even got to a point where i don't have my laptop on at night, i just rely on my trusty Dell Streak for 90% of all surfing now. Films are good and clear on the screen and HD is a joy to watch.
The Andorid apps have so far been spot on and i can do anything on this phone that my iPhone could do, generally faster.
I love the pop up keyboard and have got the typing down to a point where i'm not much slower than on a standard keyboard using double flashing thumb input. :-)
What i hate is the price that Dell charge for accessories, £54 for a car kit thats probably bought in for less than a tenner.
To sum up, i would say that this is the best phone i've ever had and the 2.2 Android update will make perfection.
Pros Easy to use, internet, social media, GPS, great phone
