Dell XPS 10 user reviews (Windows RT)

Pros Light and nice to hold.It has 2 good camera's. Very reliable so far.Can stream music directly from my Zune account over WiFi, through bluetooth to my stereo receiver.Battery lasting 3 days of moderate usage before it needs charging.Very happy so far.

Cons Current lack of accessories such as a docking station (other than keyboard dock) or a cover.Hoping these will come.

Win8 RT has no sync software like Zune. Syncing requires copying using File Explorer. Looks like some 3rd party apps available soon.

Summary Having used for a week now I understand where Microsoft have gone with Windows 8. This is not a tablet like iPad users would describe it. Its really a hybrid PC and Tablet in one. I can map network drives, run scheduled tasks, connect to remote desktops etc - just like I can from a Windows PC. The Metro interface takes a day or so to master but then is very easy to use. The Live Tiles are great. Overall I think this could well be a great alternative to Apple.
