Pros: -You always have the latest Android updates!
    -It's thin and light.
-Screen's color and brightness is great, despite photos I saw in reviews before purchase.
    -$249 for 32GB is a no-brainer purchase
    -Multi-functional
    -It's fast

Cons: -Can't find an Adobe Flash plugin for the latest Jelly Bean 4.2 yet, but hey, it just came out two days ago.
    -It doesn't bake cookies

Summary: My wife and daughter have Kindle Fire tablets. Those are fine for just reading books, but you are locked into a hacked up Android OS. The Nexus 7 is great for reading books, too, and is lighter to hold in one hand. You will get longer life out of the Nexus due to Google designing Android updates to be compatible with them. My daughter wants my Nexus now.

I wasn't sure if a 7" tablet is what I wanted, but this is a fantastic tablet. You can throw it in a bag and go. It automatically connects to any previous wireless connection when it gets in range. I pull up in the driveway and hear a little chime ping from my bag indicating connectivity.

TIP: Buy a "Blurex Ultra-Slim Case for Google Nexus 7 inch Tablet -- with built in Multi-Angle Stand". This case is extremely thin and protects the corners. Paired together, this is an excellent combination. You will love this, trust me.

I use this for a variety of things. I'm an IT guy, so I use it as my on-the-go computer, diagnostic device, entertainment playing Star Wars Angry Birds, surfing the web, reading, watching movies while traveling, sending/receiving email using multiple accounts. I have OfficeSuite Pro on it so I can open and save .DOCX, .XLSX, and other MS Office formats. My next purchase will be a portable Bluetooth keyboard to expand its functionality even more.

BTW, not having a camera on the back is really no big deal. How many pictures have you taken with any "tablet"? I use my phone and send them over using Bluetooth. You can also download the Amazon AppStore app if you are wondering.

Compared to other tablet prices, especially the iPad mini, this is a steal for what you get. I love mine!

wait until you get the oh it won't boot bug. Has been a bug since 4.2.1 android and google will not acknowledge it or assist with it.

I would not recommend this product to anyone after experiencing support from google.
