Pros: Discreet device with an eccentric hardware setup. Seamless interface with good hardware to allow for smoother interaction with device. I am able to run multiple hardware intensive applications without worrying about lagging on the O/S interface.

Cons: No 4G connection is a bummer but not a deal breaker. Besides that, an Excellent buy for the money.

Summary: For $199.00/$250.00 price tag, this was the deal of the year. You get so much for what you pay for it almost makes you feel like you are stealing from Google and Asus. I have used both Android and IOS devices in the past and have always conceded to IOS for there smoothness, however, this little Nexus 7 monster tears down those biases by giving me a user experience I will never forget.

I have run setups for businesses using Google Apps on all varieties of tablets. This was one of the smoothest setups I have ever done. E-mail, calendar, contacts and docs all synchronized with little effort on multiple accounts. Watched two 1.5 hour videos, played Angry Birds space, Sonic Lite, and used Pocket Cloud to remote to a server and I still had plenty of battery left.

You cannot go wrong. I am buying the second one for my wife who refuses to use anything other than Apple products. She played with the Nexus for a while and was highly impressed. In essence, she felt comfortable using the device. They really nailed it on the head with the small form factor. I bought this product and was initially disappointed that there would not be a larger 10 inch model, however, I quickly found out that I would rather use a smaller device that is comfortable and works seamlessly. The Nexus 7 is that device.

There is no doubt that Google Nexus 7 is great. However,Google Nexus 7 also has a few drawbacks, like the storage space is not expandable and only one camera. Why not try Ainol Novo 7 Venus? Ainol Novo 7 Venus is a great alternative in my opinion. It is also powered by Quad Core CPU ACT-ATM7029 based on Cortex A9 that runs up to 1.5GHz,it has dual cameras, features the same 7 inch 1280X800 IPS screen as Google Nexus 7. One drawback of Ainol Novo 7 Venus is that it has 8GB Nand Flash, but expandable to 32GB - this is very important and matters,I like this. It's sold at $149.99 only from JSXL Technology. I share this just because I think the more choices of Tablet PCs,the better for us.http://www.jsxltech.com/products/ainol-novo-7-venus-quad-core-cpu-act-atm7029-7-inch-5-point-touch1280x800-ips-screen-mali400-quad-core-gpu-1gb-ddr3-8gb-nand-flash-hdmi-bluetooth-2-1-gps
