great hpc, absolutely worth checking out for those who don't need a full laptop
Pros: small size, instant on, nonvolatile storage, great battery life, knows a lot more than pocket pcs
Cons: screen isn't tft, it could have larger res, OS isn't mainstream windows
Review: you should learn what kind of animal hpc's are... they're often so much better than a laptop, even better than a subnotebook. they're smaller and lighter, and the other pro's i've listed are very important too.
it can do a lot of tasks easily, but some more specific ones are out of the question. so it definitely isn't a PC replacement but it can easily be a laptop replacement. it is for me! i don't mind that the operating system is windows ce (if you upgrade you get the more powerful ce.net 4.2), a lot of programs exist for it.
only the screen isn't perfect in sunlight and it has the same hvga resolution as the jornada 720 for example, at a larger size... NEC could've chosen a larger res. but i'm fine with hvga too.
