"Definitely worth the price."4.0 starson by melvin_m
Pros: This is the ONLY tablet in this price range with a 1gHz CPU, Bluetooth, and a capacative screen. It ships with a very stable version of Gingerbread and upgrade to ICS is coming this spring. It has run every app that I've installed on it.
Cons: Display is not very good for reading for long periods. If your primary need is an eReader get a Kobo Vox. I was hoping to tether it to my phone's GPS but can't because it does not support Mock Locations.
Summary: Instructions for installing Android Market can be found all over the internet and that is the first thing I did when I took it out of the box. Much to my chagrin, many apps will not download because Android Market says they are not compatible with my device. This has to do with the (lack of) hardware definitions in it's Android Market profile. This should be solved with the upcoming ICS upgrade that will include full Android Market support (according to Pandigital.) In the mean time you can add SlideMe and FDroid markets, install Barcode Scanner from the Android Market to download using QR Codes, and download and install .apk files. I have no complaints about the sound quality because I use a Bluetooth stereo headset when listening to music or watching videos. I have no complaints about the screen viewing angle because I POINT IT AT MY FACE WHEN I'M LOOKING AT IT! I will however agree that the display is dim and almost useless in direct sunlight. All in all, some compromises but still a great value for the money.
